About the Fellowship

Campaign fellows will work closely with campaign staff and volunteers to support voter engagement efforts across Senate District 15. This program emphasizes skill-building, mentorship, and real-world experience in a live electoral campaign. Fellows will leave with a strong understanding of how modern state legislative campaigns operate from the ground up.

  • Voter contact through phone banking and door-to-door canvassing

  • Persuasive voter communication and message delivery

  • Use of voter databases and basic field tools

  • Understanding campaign strategy and field planning

Exposure to campaign operations and volunteer coordination

In addition to field work, fellows will have opportunities to get to know the candidate, observe campaign decision-making, and learn firsthand what it is like to run for public office. This includes conversations about policy priorities, community engagement, and the personal realities of campaigning.

Who Should Apply

This fellowship is ideal for students, recent graduates, and community members who are curious about electoral politics and want practical experience. No prior campaign experience is required. Successful fellows will complete the program with skills that make them competitive candidates for future campaign and organizing roles at the local, state, and national levels.
